Colours Day - KG & LP

The students of KG & LP celebrated Colours Day on July 27th.The children wore dresses of all the colours of the rainbow .It was a happy celebration filled with dance and songs.

Class Day Celebration - IIIrd standard

On July 26th the IIIrd standard students celebrated Class Day. The theme was Jaldhara. highlighting the importance of water conservation. Our principal, Rev.Fr.Paul Thekkiniyath, CMI praised them for their good effort.

Field trip for UP

On July 25th the children of 6th and 7th standard were taken on a field trip to Fort Maidan. They learnt about the historical significance of the fort. They were accompanied by their teachers.

Biology Seminar

The science club arranged a seminar on the topic “Biological Classification” for biology students of Class 11 12, on July 17 th . The resource person was Dr. Maya C Nair, H.O.D, Botany Department, Victoria College.

Teen Psychology – Orientation Class

Rev.Fr. Paul Pottekkal CMI, conducted an orientation class for students of Class 10,11 12 on July 15 th .He spoke about common teenage and adolescent problems. He spoke on the necessity of realizing ones flaws and potential and how to develop one’s positive qualities. He also spoke about addiction and substance abuse.

Rainy Day

On July 14th the tiny tots of Kindergarten section celebrated the monsoons with Rainy Day. They made paper boats and sang songs about rain. They brought their umbrellas and wore raincoats.


On July 7th, in connection with Vanamahotsavam, Shri Boban Mattumantha, District Chairmain, Eco Club, "Punarjani Aikyavedhi" gave a talk on conservation of nature and natural resources for the students of Class 8.Various competitions were held for the students of all classes to create an awareness about nature and the need to protect it.

Ruby Jubilee & Vismaya 2017

A proud moment as Bharathamatha Higher Secondary school reaches a milestone – 40years, Ruby Jubilee. The Ruby Jubilee Inauguration was celebrated on July 1 st with pomp and grandeur. It was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Joy Kolengaden, CMI, Provincial, Preshitha Province, Coimbatore, by the ceremonious lighting of the lamp. Our manager, Rev.Fr. Sebastian Parayil delivered the presidential address.

On this very momentous occasion, the investiture ceremony of the newly elected school parliament was also held. The chief guest and our principal presented the newly elected Council Members with sashes and badges. The school parliament members also took the oath to fulfill their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty. The school magazine "Reise" and monthly newsletter "BM Cronica", which is a comprehensive mirror of the events happening in the school, was released by Rev. Fr. George Ambookan, CMI.

The full A+ holders of class X and XII (academic year 2016-17) were also honoured. Cash prizes were given to Sreelakshmi K and Nasif KN for scoring full marks in the 12 th and 11 th standard board examination. The entertainment programs began with a reenactment that linked the past and present, along with the release of the school anthem written by our teaching faculty Mr. Biju .V.S. The members of the alumni performed some mesmerizing dances . Members of the parent community also performed on stage. It was really a memorable day in the history of Bharatahamatha, fluttering its flag high in the sky.

Rev.Fr. Joy Kolengadan, CMI, cut the special ribbon marking the opening of our newly renovated Front Office with his divine blessings.
