The Bharathamatha family celebrated the feast day of our beloved Principal Rev.Fr. Paul Thekkiniyath CMI, with joy and enthusiasm, on 29 th June. We had a special assembly, greeting our principal with cards and flowers. A special festal song was sung by our students .A feast day cake was cut by the principal and colorful balloons were released into the air. Felicitations were expressed by the students and teachers. We all had a lovely day of celebration.

Class Day Celebration - Class IV
The students of standard IV, celebrated Class Day, on 28th June. Our Principal inaugurated the class day with words of encouragement. Parents were also invited .The children were highly delighted to present a variety of programs including dance, music, recitation of poems and speeches on the topic "Mathrudevo Bhavah". It gave them a very good platform to showcase their talents.

On 23rd June, the school auditorium was filled with excitement as the popular Naadan Pattu artiste; Shri Pranavam Shashi came on stage to inaugurate this year’s school club activities. His lively performance with his troupe enthused our students and soon many were dancing to the beats of the foot tapping numbers. Later prizes for the Denguue awareness campaign were given to the participants.
Dengue Awareness Campaign
ON 23rd june, our school organized a Dengue Awareness Campaign, as there is an emerging dengue epidemic all across kerala . Dr. Abdul Hakkim, paediatrician, Balaji Hospital, inaugurated the programme with an awareness class on precautions to be taken against dengue fever and other aspects of this disease.
As a part of this campaign, inter house competitions were held between the four houses; Crimson, Carmine, Scarlet & Vermilion. Students of all four houses had to make PPt presentations, charts and placards and present skits on dengue awareness . the children were enthusiastic and performed well and the SCARLET house emerged as winners.
World Yoga Day
Yoga is a compulsory activity in our school and on 21st june international yoga day was celebrated, as our children practiced some basic asanas of yoga under the guidance of our yoga instructor, Mrs. Sandhya.
Red Colour Day
On 21st june , as part of making learning a fun experience for the tinytots fo the Kindergarten section, Red Day was celebrated. All the children and teachers were dressed in the colour Red and they also brought with them objects which were red in colour. This was aimed at creating awareness about the primary colours.
Nanma - Dynamic Parenting
An interesting session on parenting in the modern world was held in our school for parents on 17th june. It was conducted by Mr.A.M. Prabhakaran Nair of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. He spoke about value based living and the crucial role of a parent as a guide, a role model and a friend.
