An interactive session on empowering young and future voters of age group15-17 years was conducted in our school on 19 January 2017. The session was inaugurated by the honorable Dist. Collector Smt. MaryKutty IAS . Our principal Rev. Fr. Paul Thekkiniyath presided over the function. Mr. Abdul Salam Deputy Collector welcomed the gathering. Mr. Shanawas Khan Deputy Thasildhar took class supported by ppt on this topic with an interaction with students. Ms. Induja D school vice chairperson rendered the formal vote of thanks.
Food fest was conducted on Jan 17th on the theme pulses for UP and traditional food items for HS section. Children exhibited varieties of nutritious, delicious and innovative dishes. The fest was inaugurated by our principal. It was an enthralling occasion
Founder's & Manager's Day Celebration
The feast of St.Chavara our founder was celebrated with great devotion and solemnity on 6th January 2017. We also celebrated the feast day of our manager Rev.Fr. John Thattil in a grand manner on the same occasion. Rev.Dr. Johnson Valiyakulathil the chief guest of the day gave an insight on the life of St. Chavara. Many cultural events were organized making the day a joyful one.
Kerala Kaumudhi in association with Excise Dept & IMA conducted a seminar on Anti-Drug on 5th January 2017. Excise Asst. Nodal Officer Mr. B. Harikumar led the interactive session on anti - drug abuse awareness to our children. It aimed at making the youth properly aware of the dangers involved in drug abuse and to inform them about the harmful effects of new psychoactive substances. Kerala kaumudhi Unit chief Mr. K N Suresh Kumar welcomed the gathering and our principal Rev.Fr. Paul Thekkiniyath gave the message that everyone has a part to play in protecting the youth of the world from such dangerous substances.

A miniature exhibition was put up by Aswathy and Taniya k sen of VI on their creative work and fun filled games.
Green protocol was implemented in our school. The meeting was inaugurated by our principal by givig a stirring message to Go green…Act green…..Think green. Students took pledge to keep the campus green and plastic free.
Inculcating love for Nature, our school Eco club is promoting Green initiatives in a humble way. A Kitchen farm at our centres to promote pesticide free, poison free vegetable farming and a medicinal garden. The Eco club members are maintaining 184 precious medicinal plants, known for their invaluable medicinal values. This innovative venture also throws light on the importance of plants in the sustenance of a safe and green world to our state.
Save Fuel...Save Future
To create an awareness on fuel conservation, our school organized a cycle rally. Fifty students participated in the rally which marked a start from our school gate to kootupatha junction which was flagged off by our principal Rev.Fr.Paul Thekkiniyath. The students made some very creative slogans which were displayed on placards that gave the message of protecting the ecology and using Oil and Natural Gas in a judicious way.
