From the hectic schedule of school chores, a trip in Kochi Metro and shopping at the Lulu Mall was quite relaxing and refreshing! A thoughtful one day trip, arranged for the staff, by the Principal and management. It was a mood of fun and frolic as we started from this campus at 7:30 am on 26th August. Travelling in metro, that too in our own state, maintaining all the international standards, made me really proud. Pranamams to the efforts put in by E Sreedharan to make the dream come true!
On August 15th, Independence Day was celebrated in our school. The chief guest was Ms.Anju K.S, IAS, and presided by Rev.Fr.Sebastian Parayil,CMI, our Manager. After the flag hoisting ceremony the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners of English and Malayalam club competitions. The cultural programs put up by the students highlighted the theme of patriotism and freedom struggle.
Letter Writing Contest
Our students participated in a unique letter writing competition conducted by the Postal Department on the theme, “Dear Bapu, You inspire me”, on 9th August.
On August 5th , Naipunya, the School Fair was held. It was inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Varghese Manjaly,CMI. The prizes for the Maths Rangoli completion were handed over to the winners by our chief guest. The fairs were conducted for LP, UP HS HSS sections. The students could display their skills in Science, Mathematics, Social and Work Experience
Rangoli competition was conducted on August 4 th to develop interest and creativity in learning maths.
Through Rangoli students were able to check the multiple facets of math – knowledge of shapes, skills of using geometrical properties, construction and perfection of shapes, time management also to inculcate cooperative learning.
Trip to Nelliyampathy
On July 29th the members of the school Nature Club visited the hills of Nelliyampathy. They learnt about the various species of plants found on the hills; it was an educational and fun trip.
The students of class 11 – Commerce Department were taken on an Industrial Visit to Malabar Cements on August 3rd, as a part of their curricular activities. It was highly informative and educational for the students.
