The students and teachers will converse in no other languages except English in the school premises and during other outdoor programmes..
ABSENCE AND LEAVE
Attendance is compulsory on the reopening day; new academic year and after holidays Absence from school is permitted only in case of illness or unforeseen emergency.
Reson for absence should be written and signed by the parent in the school diary in the prescribed column and submitted to the class teacher.
Medical certificate must be furnished if a pupil is absent for more than 5 days due to illness
Any pupil who is absent for more than 15 days should have applied for and sought the permission of the Principal.
Irregular or unexplained attendance is a serious offence and his/her name can be struck off the rolls.
In case of an emergency a pupil may be permitted to go home, only if accompanied by a parent/guardian and written request must be presented to the Principal.
In order to be eligible to appear for examination, a minimum of 85% attendance is required.
100% attendance by pupils is appreciated and will be awarded.
EXAMINATIONS
Attendance for all examinations is compulsory, absence is allowed only in case of illness.
Answer scripts of all examinations, except the final examination should be signed by parents.
Re-examination will not be conducted for absentees.
Strict action will be taken against any pupil who indulges in any malpractice during examination.
Promotion to higher class will be based on the results of all the examinations.
Progress Report will be distributed after each examination. Proficiency certificates are awarded to pupils on basis of excellence in examination
